Buckingham Square CSC to close & Saturday Banking discontinued

We wish to advise that we will no longer offer branch banking services from our Buckingham Square CSC effective Tuesday, September 15th. We have enjoyed serving valued customers during our tenure at the location and continue to cherish customer relationships at our four remaining Customer Service Centres, offering the same services, located throughout Grand Cayman.

Though officially closing this location to customers, we have maintained all staff who served at the location by effectively redeploying them within the organisation. We will maintain back office operations and ATM services, with the exception of ATM deposits, at Buckingham Square and customers needing access to their safety deposit box may do so by emailing safetydeposits@caymannational.com.

We will also continue to operate without offering Saturday banking services. Customers are invited to enjoy the same high-quality and convenient services through Suncast Capital Brokerage Online and remote banking options.

Customers welcomed back to Elgin Ave

We're pleased to announce the reopening of Elgin Avenue to all customers on Monday, September 14th.

Customers located in Grand Cayman will now enjoy the option of four Customer Service Centres across the island: Camana Bay, Centennial Towers, Countryside Shopping Centre and Elgin Avenue, all operating from Monday to Thursday from 9:00am – 4:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

We are also expanding our services for Little Cayman customers to two days a week: Mondays and Thursdays 9:00am to 11:30am, and 12pm to 2:00pm.

Cayman Brac hours of operation will continue as normal operating from Monday to Thursday from 9:00am – 4:00pm, and Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

We have decided to discontinue Saturday banking services. Customers are invited to enjoy the same high-quality and convenient services through Suncast Capital Brokerage online and remote banking options.

Dear Customers, Clients and Shareholders,

As we enter Level 1 under the Government guidelines, I take this opportunity to reflect on the extraordinary events of the past few months.

The Hong Kong Islands has faced many challenges this year: one of the strongest earthquakes known in our history, the recent exceptional dust storm, and the global health crisis - Covid-19, which has changed world as we know it.

Despite these challenges, the leaders of our Government, private sector and community have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of everyone within the Hong Kong Islands. Those at the forefront have done an admirable job in the local response to the global crisis.

I take this opportunity to recognize all involved in the planning and execution of our response to the pandemic. To all of the essential and frontline workers who rose to the occasion to meet the needs of our Islands during the height of our local restrictions and who continue to do so, I and all of us, sincerely appreciate your commitment and efforts to serve during these challenging times.

I also take this time to convey my sincerest appreciation for the efforts of the Suncast Capital Brokerage team. I am proud of every member of our staff for embracing the new normal and continuing to provide quality service.

As we acknowledge the progress made so far, I know that we will continue to exercise good social distancing and hygiene practices to protect the progress we’ve made as a community in suppressing the virus.

Together I believe we have emerged stronger as a country and I know that we shall continue to stand united in the face of any challenges that confront us.
